WHITE HART TRIANGLE
One of the most significant developments in the south east over the next few years, White Hart Triangle - which occupies a prime location adjacent to the proposed new Thames Gateway Bridge - will see the delivery of an £80 million business park. The development covers 52 acres with planning permission for approximately one million sq ft of business and warehouse space. The first phase is already complete consisting of over 110 000 sq.ft. split into a range of different unit sizes from 6 500 to 9 200sq.ft. Future phases with planning permission already secured can cater for a range of business and warehouse units up to 250,000 sq ft and built to the occupiers' design requirements. Infrastructure works for phase one have already commenced along with development of the innovation centre and the remainder of the scheme will be launched in early 2007. In addition to an innovation centre being developed in partnership with Bexley Council, the project will also incorporate a number of flexible units to attract a broader base of businesses to the area, and a £1 million investment by Tilfen Land in significant environmental improvement works. Official launch of development scheduled for spring 2006.
BIRCHMERE BUSINESS PARK
Featuring four new industrial units, Birchmere Business Park was completed in early 2005 and covers a floorspace in excess of 75,000 sq ft in an estate boasting easy access to the M25, south circular and the proposed new Thames Gateway Bridge. Designed to a high specification with modern mezzanine offices, the development offers flexible space to enable occupiers to utilise premises in a number of ways tailored to their individual business needs and specific occupational requirements. The largest of the four units saw a development partnership between Tilfen Land, Greenwich Council and Cleanaway to build the UK's most technologically advanced materials recycling facility capable of handling 75,000 tonnes per annum.
